End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement governs your use of the One Liner desktop application. By installing or using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. License grant

Subject to payment and compliance with this Agreement, One Liner grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable except as expressly permitted below, revocable license to install and use the App for personal or commercial keyword research.

2. One active installation

A license permits one active installation on one machine at a time. You may transfer the license to a new machine by deactivating the existing installation first and then activating the App on the replacement machine. The license may not be active on multiple machines simultaneously.

3. Ownership and permitted use

You own the research projects, keywords, notes, exports, and other content you create with the App. The App, its interface, source code, scoring methods, and documentation remain the intellectual property of One Liner and its licensors.

4. Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, bypass license controls, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App except where applicable law expressly permits it. You may not use the App's output data to train or build a substantially similar keyword research tool.

5. Local-first operation and network access

One Liner is local-first. Stored research data, including keywords, BSR records, competition scores, projects, and notes, remains in the local database on your machine. Keyword lookups fetch live results from public sources such as Amazon, Google, YouTube, DuckDuckGo, and Steam. Those requests are subject to the availability and terms of the relevant source.

6. License validation and hardware fingerprint

The App may compute a hardware fingerprint locally for license validation only. The fingerprint is never transmitted to One Liner or any third party and is never stored on any server. Local validation data may remain on your machine as needed to maintain activation status.

7. Updates and third-party sources

Updates may modify, improve, or discontinue features. One Liner does not control third-party public sources and cannot guarantee their availability, completeness, accuracy, or continued compatibility.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and all research outputs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or publishing performance. Keyword scores are decision-support signals, not guarantees of sales, rankings, traffic, or revenue.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Liner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of the App. Aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

10. Termination

This Agreement remains effective until terminated. Your rights terminate automatically if you materially breach these terms. On termination, you must stop using and uninstall the App. Sections intended by their nature to survive will remain in effect.

11. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protections.

12. Changes and contact
